 “25, 35, 40 Campaign”

Matthew 25:35-40

                 “’For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’  Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?  And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?  When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’  The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’”

Mid-South Love Home has begun its first official campaign to raise monthly support for ministry.  On April 25, 2015, this ministry will be two years old.  We began housing girls 19 months ago and have been blessed with the opportunity of meeting the needs of nine pregnant women.  Our ministry goes deep with a few and desires a life-long relationship with the women and their babies.   To date, we have been blessed with a continual relationship with all but one of the moms and babies!

For those of you who have followed the blog (themidsouthlovehome.blogspot.com) or have frequent contact with us, you know that this ministry is actively fulfilling its mission:

                          “a family-style maternity home meeting the needs of women in crisis situations”

and we would love for you to come alongside us as we continue to follow God’s command in Matthew 25:35-40.  We have been blessed with many ministry partners and are thankful that God has continually supplied our needs.  As we embark on this campaign, we are confident that He will move in the hearts of those He wants to partner with us!  You, too, can obey His command by financially supporting Mid-South Love Home and enabling us to be a shelter and support system for these women and their babies!

In this campaign, we are calling on people to commit to a $25, $35, or $40 a month donation for the next 12 months.  We have the ability for this donation to be drafted monthly through our PayPal account if that is easier than sending a check each month.  You can find the PayPal button on our website:  midsouthlovehome.wix.com/mslh.  If you would like to meet, we would be honored to do so!  We love having opportunities to share what God is doing through this ministry.  If you are making a commitment to be a financial partner with us, please let us know!  You can contact Paige at 901-270-8263 (call or text) or midsouthlovehome@gmail.com.  Remember, we are a 501(c)3 so donations are tax deductible!

We are excited to see what God is going to do through this campaign and in the hearts and lives of everyone involved in this ministry.  He has done amazing things in the hearts and lives of the women we have served, but He has also done much in our personal hearts and lives and in those of our volunteers and donors.  God is more interested in what He is going to do IN us than THROUGH us!  We have found that to be completely true!  It is more blessed to give than receive and God has proven that to us over and over again.  Hearing the testimonies of the women we have served has blessed our hearts beyond what we thought possible!  God is at work changing lives and we sure hope you will be a part of it with us!!!
